Federal Resources

U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)

A resource of funding information, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updates and guidance, local assistance, government contracting, and more.

 

U.S. Chamber of Commerce

The U.S. Chamber is working closely with the White House, U.S. government agencies, and foreign government officials to inform and equip businesses with the most important and up-to-date information to prevent the spread of the virus and prepare businesses for the immediate and long-term impacts.

 

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers

Guidance and updates are available for businesses and employers responding to COVID-19.

 

U.S. Department of Labor Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19

OSHA’s planning guidance is advisory to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace based on traditional infection prevention and industrial hygiene practices. You can find additional resources provided by OSHA here.

 

U.S. Department of Labor

The Wage and Hour Division provides more information regarding the impact of COVID-19 or other public health emergencies, including the Fair Labor Standards Act and job-protected leave under the Family Medical Act.

 

IRS COVID-19 Tax Relief

The IRS has established several resources to support taxpayers, businesses, and others affected byCOVID-19, including issuing a guidance regarding deferring tax payments.

The Ohio SBDC will continue to provide business advice and assistance to companies in need, including financial projections development, strategic business planning, market feasibility and research, and more.

WARN Dashboard

JobsOhio aims to provide timely and valuable economic data to assess the ongoing impacts of the Coronavirus epidemic. This dashboard uses existing data published by virtue of the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) supplied by the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services (ODJFS).
